Navratri Special - Samvat Ke Chawal Ka Halwa is a delicious dessert you can eat during fasting days or during Navratri. Its made using Samvat Rice or Vrat Ka Chawal and takes about 20 minutes to get prepared.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Samvat Ke Chawal
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Ghee
  • 4 cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cashew Nuts & Almonds chopped

Instructions
 

  • Grind the Samvat Chawal into a smooth powder.
  • Heat some Ghee in a Pan. Add the Samvat Chawal Powder and stir over low flame.
    Keep the flame low and cook until it turns golden brown in color.
    Add the sugar and mix well.
    Add the hot water and the milk and mix well.
  • Stir until the Halwa thicks and leaves the bottom of the pan.
    Take it out in a bowl, garnish with chopped Cashew Nuts and Almonds and serve!
