Tastewise these tandoori pomfret fishes have a beautiful charred and grilled like flavor. It looks really tempting on the top. The fresh lime juice on top along with freshly chopped coriander emits a beautiful aroma and the freshness is so appetizing that you can't help but simply dig in.

As you bite in you get the charred flavor and finally, the charred texture gets out of the way as you peel off the skin. What follows is a soft fish skins. The charred texture has all the fried masalas or the spices which in turn makes it taste awesome.

If you read the recipe or watch the video to make How to make grilled pomfret fish then you will know that I have made slits on the skin of the fish. This is the very reason that the masalas or the spices have gone into the fish and have made it tastier.

This is best enjoyed just by itself. I don't think that you need anything else with such a tasty tandoori recipe.

How to Make Grilled Tandori Pomfret Fish without an oven?

To make this first you need to marinate your pomfret fish. Pomfret fishes are available with head and without head. It depends on you what you want and how you want. I generally like it both ways.

So, what you need to do is grab your big old box of spices and marinate your fish with the spices. Let the masalas go in the fish and then let it stay in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.

Now, just grill the fish in the pan with a knob of butter and let the fishes turn golden brown and slightly charred on both sides. They will be done in about 2-3 minutes on high flame. Flip over and grill both sides. I did it on a grill pan. You can also use regular tava.

Once it is done, just squeeze some lemon juice on top and garnish with fresh coriander and onion rings.

Yes, guys, it is actually that easy recipe.
